Planning care from abroad

Your care extends beyond the visit.

If you live outside Türkiye, understanding the whole course of care is part of an informed decision.

Before you travel

Understand the plan
before the journey.

Start by discussing your questions and any practical requirements. Photographs and remote communication can help frame a conversation, but cannot replace a dental examination.

The findings may change the proposed care. Allow room for further assessment, treatment of existing problems and healing before deciding how to arrange your stay.

Ask about alternatives available closer to home as well as the implications of receiving care abroad. Choose the arrangement that makes sense for your health and continuing care.

Questions worth asking

See the whole
course of care.

01

Assessment & consent

What has the examination found? Why is treatment proposed? What are the alternatives, risks and limits?

02

Stages & time

Which visits, healing periods and reviews may be needed? What could change the timetable?

03

Costs & responsibilities

What is included in the written estimate? What may cost extra if the plan changes or further care is needed?

04

Follow-up at home

Who will review your care? How will records be shared, and who should you contact if a concern arises?

For Polish-speaking patients

support from Flymedica.

Your questions

Questions, clearly answered.

A little clarity before your next step.

Can a treatment plan be confirmed before I travel?

An initial discussion is provisional. A final diagnosis and treatment recommendation require an examination and any appropriate investigations. The proposed plan may change after assessment.

How many visits will I need?

The number and spacing of visits depend on the treatment, your oral health and healing. Ask about stages and follow-up before arranging flights or accommodation.

What happens if I have a problem after returning home?

Agree in advance who to contact, how a concern will be assessed and what local or return care may be needed. Ask about the scope and possible cost of further treatment.

Is Polish organisational support available?

Flymedica provides a separate point of contact for people seeking organisational support in Polish. Confirm the scope, terms and any charges directly with Flymedica. Dental assessment and treatment decisions remain with the treating dentist.
